About the Koinonia Center

Jennifer Martin, Pastor, Executive Director
The Reverend Jennifer Martin, Campus Minister at the Koinonia Center,
loves living in the Pacific Northwest and working with college students.
You can often find her hanging out with students at the Buzz (where she's
happy to buy you a cup of coffee or tea). She moved to Eugene in 2006
from Texas where she served as the chaplain of a Presbyterian camp and
conference center. Jennifer has a B.A. from Austin College in Sherman,
TX, and her M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. She is a minister
of the Word and Sacrament in the PC(USA).
Progressive: the Koinonia Center strives to empower students to live out their faith by working for causes in which they feel called to participate. Whether that means building houses with Habitat for Humanity or writing their congressional representatives on behalf of people who live on the other side of the globe, we seek to be the body of Christ in the world.
Inclusive: At the K-Center we welcome everyone who wishes to join us. We believe each person is an important part of this community of disciples. So no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
